A&J Australia’s Commitment to Recycling

A&J Australia’s Commitment to Recycling
20 Mar 2024

At A&J Australia, our commitment to recycling stands at the forefront of our mission. We understand the pressing need to reduce plastic waste, which is why we’ve implemented a number of recycling initiatives. Our ultimate goal as plastic packaging and HDPE bottle suppliers is clear: to significantly reduce the amount of industrial plastic waste that finds its way into landfill. Read on to learn about the steps we’re taking.

Reducing Excess Waste with Our Palletiser Machine

One of the key tools we use for recycling is our state-of-the-art palletiser machine. This advanced technology allows us to optimise our processes, ensuring minimal material wastage during packaging. By precisely stacking products on pallets, we reduce the need for excess materials and contribute to a more sustainable operation.

Using Recovered HDPE

We’ve incorporated the use of recovered HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) produced in-house into our manufacturing processes. This not only reduces our reliance on virgin plastics, but also significantly cuts down on production costs. These cost savings are then passed on to our customers, which allows us to offer more affordable HDPE bottles and other packaging solutions.

Cleaning & Reusing

In our pursuit of sustainability, we’ve implemented rigorous cleaning and reusing protocols within our facilities. This means that plastic materials such as containers and packaging are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised for reuse wherever possible. Extending the lifecycle of these materials ultimately results in less plastic waste ending up in landfill.
